CounterWise and CounterCare pharmacies to help raise funds for CancerCare Manitoba

The CancerCare Manitoba Foundation has officially announced that Procurity Inc., along with both the CounterWise and CounterCare banners, are now official sponsors for the 2009 Challenge For Life fundraising relay, on June 13th, 2009.

Procurity will have a tent on-site the day of the event, where we will be handing out Encounter promotional sized products and supporting participants and volunteers. The tent will be manned by head office staff, along with volunteers from various community pharmacy locations across Manitoba.

Participating CounterWise and CounterCare locations will also feature CancerCare coin boxes for donations at the counter, along with promotional posters onsite. Monies raised through in-store donations will be matched by a corporate donation from Procurity, so we invite our independent pharmacists and shareholders to take up the challenge in your own communities to help raise funds for this important and worthy cause.
